M. Dale Sharpsteen, LMFT, M.Ed.

Dale has been in the field for more than 35 years, first obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College, and later her Master of Education from Millersville University.  After some time in the education field, she began her work in the Mental Health field, training in multiple techniques over the years including substance abuse and family systems.  Dale enjoys working with individuals, couples and families to find resolution to life's inevitable difficulties through listening and conversation.  "I believe solutions are within all of us and my job is to join with my clients to find those solutions, often offering a little guidance and wisdom.  My specialty is relationships - it is through the relationship we find a mirror to the self, intimacy and meaning."   She holds current membership in PAMFT and AMMFT organizations.  In her free time Dale enjoys spending time with her grand babies, traveling and gardening, proud of her orchids and over 200 hostas.

Pam has been in the counseling field for over 15 years, and enjoys working with adolescents and adults.  Specializing in both mental health and addictions counseling, she earned her BS in Music Therapy from Elizabethtown University, her MS in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University.  Certifications include Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the State of Pennsylvania, and Board Certified Music Therapist.  Pam's early work experience consists of providing addictions counseling and creative a Music Therapy program for adolescents in a residential drug and alcohol treatment program.  Since then she has worked in many clinical settings, including day hospital, inpatient hospitalization and out-patient settings.  Pam places an emphasis on providing a treatment approach that is specific to the needs of the client, and understands that people are not of "cookie cutters," and thus are very unique in their needs throughout the therapy process.  Special areas of treatment focus are mood disorders, substance abuse and addiction issues, and working with victims of trauma and sexual abuse.  Pam enjoys listening to and playing music and spending time with her family

Stephanie has been in Private Practice since 2005 and enjoys working with adults, adolescents and children.  Her training background consists of a Piano Performance degree from West Chester University, and a Master of Art in Creative Arts Therapy from MCP Hahnemann University, Center City Philadelphia, PA.  She is a current Board Certified Music Therapist, has trained with Louise Guerney and William Nordling of the National Institute of Relationship Enhancement (NIRE) in Child-Centered Play Therapy, and also uses Sand Tray Therapy.  Additionally she holds a Certificate for Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy from the Graduate School of Social Work & Social Research from Bryn Mawr College.  Special areas of treatment are depression, mood and anxiety disorders, common student issues and ADHD, self-harmful behaviors. She also has experience working with sexual offenders and victims of abuse.  A graduate of the Leadership Lancaster's 2003 Core Class, Stephanie enjoys serving in the community.  She's an avid hiker and enjoys any type of live music.
